Projetamos, pensamos e disseminamos palestras e apresentações em escolas, universidades, instituições e projetos, disponibilizando conteúdo educativo gratuito, focado em atuar diretamente no combate a desinformação. Parece fato? Pode ter algo depois da vírgula.

Fact-checking projects are important, but we can do more: give the public tools to consume information with a critical eye. Fact or comma is an invitation to education. We design, think about and disseminate lectures and presentations in schools, universities, institutions and projects, providing free educational content, focused on acting directly in the fight against misinformation. Sounds like a fact? There may be something after the comma.

Muitas coisas acontecem antes dos fatos. E depois da vírgula. Existem muitas formas de manipular a desinformação. Pode ser fato, ou pode ter uma vírgula. Em alguns casos, o fato aconteceu, mas em outro contexto. Em outros, uma situação inteira pode ter sido manipulada para desinformar. O fato até pode ser real, mas foi armado. Ou então, tudo foi forjado. Não há fato, apenas fake.

Many things happen before the facts. And after the comma. There are many ways to manipulate disinformation. It can be a fact, or it can have a comma. In some cases, the fact happened, but in a different context. In others, an entire situation may have been manipulated to misinform. The fact may even be real, but it was set up. Or, the whole thing was forged. There is no fact, only fake.

Grandes catástrofes são um terreno fértil para o surgimento e a circulação de boatos. Ainda durante o surto da Covid-19, a ONU diagnosticou uma pandemia dentro da pandemia: a de desinformação. Nas enchentes que devastaram o nosso estado, Rio Grande do Sul, em 2024, não foi diferente - por isso nascemos.

Major catastrophes are fertile ground for the emergence and circulation of rumors. Even during the Covid-19 outbreak, the UN diagnosed a pandemic within the pandemic: that of misinformation. The floods that devastated our state, Rio Grande do Sul, in 2024 were no different - that's why we were born.
